Please read and agree to our policy before continuing to book your online appointment. Thank You.
- Please eat before your appointment. NO FOOD will be allowed in the salon. Drinks must have secure lids or closeable tops.
- Please arrive with hair detangled; free of twists, braids, glue, etc. to avoid an extra charge or refusal of service.
- No add on’s or style changes allowed during appointment. Doing so could potentially have someone waiting longr than needed
- You have our undivided attention when you are in the chair, please afford us the same courtesy. No Distractions Please.
- For the safety of kids and the relaxation of the client, please do not bring any children with you to your appointment.
- Cancellations &rescheduling your appointment or changes to service MUST be done within 24 hours of your appointment.
- Due to our cozy environment, please re frame from bringing any guests to your appointment or consultations.
- Appointments preferred however Walk In's are welcome. Walk in's will be serviced around regularly scheduled clients.
- We have zero tolerance for no call/no shows. Please note our Zero Tolerance provision while reading these policies.
- A credit or debit card will be required to reserve appointments for any weave, extensions, or hair replacement services. Any of the aforementioned services booked without a deposit will be cancelled.
- A $50 authorization will be placed on your card at the time of booking. This is only a hold (not an actual charge) and will act as your deposit to secure your appointment. The hold is automatically released at the time of your appointment. Please note your credit/debit card is only used to secure your appointment & may not be acceptable use to pay for services rendered. Please see our accepted forms of payment section below for more clarification.
- Deposits become slightly higher depending on the service & hair provided (if any). You will be notified if this pertains to you.
- Deposits can be made here on our website during the online scheduling process or in the salon.
- Deposits are non-refundable and the $50 hold will be charged to your card in the event you fail to abide by this salon policy.
- All appointment scheduling is done via our Online Appointment Book.
- Due a growing clientele base, it is strongly suggested that all appointments are booked as far in advanced as possible.
- Weave and Extension appointments can only be guaranteed upon receiving a required deposit.
- Our Online Appointment book is live for you to book at any time of day by clicking on any various "Schedule Now" links.
- If your time is not available online, you may send a text message to 859-904-9676 and you will be notified if we are able to accomodate you.
- Client satisfaction is our goal. If the client is not pleased with the service performed, CHSS will correct or adjust the procedure if possible and within reason at no cost to the client. Problems or corrections must be noted within 24 hours for this guarantee. We do not issue refunds for any service provided.
- We have zero tolerance for late or no call/no show appointments.
- We highly respect ALL client's time & we DO NOT overbook appointments. You will incur a $25 fee or your deposit will be forfeited if:
- You are more than 15 minutes late . (You may also have to reschedule your appointment)
- You are a No Call/No Show
- You fail to cancel or reschedule your appointment within the requested 24 hrs
- Or if your appointment is forced to be rescheduled due to the following:
- You are more than 15 minutes late and we cannot service you due to a full book
- You bring children / guest with you and they do not have an appointment to be serviced
- You come unprepared to your appointment. (ie. don't have hair)
- If you fail to make any changes or the add on's you desire to your service within the requested 24hrs, we will try to accommodate your
request however your appointment may turn into Walk In status whereas you will be serviced around scheduled clients.
- Cancellations &rescheduling your appointment or changes to service MUST be done within 24 hours of your appointment.
- You can make any changes via my Online Appointment Book by clicking on the blue "Schedule Now" button to your right.
- No Call/No Show's must speak with the stylist personally to reschedule & the fee must be paid prior to service.
- You must come with your hair clean, dry, and free of ANY product. I will properly moisturize your hair & scalp depending on the service being provided. Failing to come prepared may result in you having to reschedule your appointment.
- Virgin Remy hair is available but is included in price. Hair requests must be made a week in advance to ensure availability.
lighter colors, or more than 8oz will incur additional charge.- You ARE NOT required to use the Contagious Hair brand, however we are NOT responsible for nor can I guarantee the quality of hair you select. This matter is reserved between YOU and the RETAILER where the hair was originally purchased.
- Contagious Hair & Lord and Cliff are our current brands. If you have a preferred brand, please have it available at your appointment.
- Contagious hair brand is included to your specifications and is non –refundable or exchangeable.
- We are unable to accept credit/debit card payments for extensions, weaves, or any hair replacement techniques.

- Cash, Credit/Debit Card, or Personal Check(pre-approved by the stylist)
- Returned checks with incur a $35 returned check fee and will be turned over to the Fayette County Attorney's Office

Please understand that these policies are in place to ensure that you are seen at 3 o'clock instead of 4 due to a client before you being 30 minutes late, one kept talking on her phone, and another wanted to add a few extras at the last minute. We highly respect your time.
